Your Tutor
Scott Feringa is a self-taught artist specializing in portraits and figure drawings. Proficient with charcoal and pencils, they occasionally venture into painting. In 2020, Scott was featured in Art/Edit Magazine and in 2022 secured 4th place in the American Art Awards’ figurative category, competing against entrants from 69 countries. Their commissioned artwork has found homes around the world.
Our learning agreement
By enrolling in ArtClubDub, you agree to participate in a cooperative manner, showing respect to the tutor and fellow learners. The group will engage in practical studio-based activities and participants must show care for the equipment supplied and the premises occupied.
You will be shown how to clean and store equipment and will be expected to do so, by way of good studio practice. In a creative environment, coercive or aggressive behavior is unacceptable.
You should report concerns on these points to the tutor immediately should they occur. Breaches may result in forfeiting your place in the program. Confidentiality is assured.

From time to time we take photos during class of students and artworks. These photos are used for Art Club’s promotional purposes such as press advertising, brochures, social media, editorials and website. These photos will never be sold and will be used exclusively by and for ArtClubDub. As a Condition of Enrolment your consent is implied. Should you not wish for us to take and use photos of you, your child or your artwork please notify us in writing.
Cancellation up to 2 weeks before the commencement of the class will incur a $25 admin fee.
Cancellation after 2 weeks before class start will be a credit toward another class.
