Your Tutor

Talitha Hodge is formally trained as a Natural History illustrator, specialising in botanical and animal illustrations with skills in print, watercolour and acrylic mediums.  Her creative inspiration centres on translating emotional and conceptual elements into powerful visual expressions that bridge scientific accuracy with meaningful story telling. Talitha comes from a talented, artistic family and currently channels much of her creative energy into sharing the exploration of new media with the younger generation, nurturing curious minds and equipping kids with skills to launch their own creative journeys.

Our learning agreement

The learner is asked to participate in a cooperative manner, showing respect to the tutor and fellow learners. The group will engage in practical studio-based activities and participants must show care for the equipment supplied and the premises occupied. The learner will be shown how to clean and store equipment and will be expected to do so, by way of good studio practice. Our contracted tutors are qualified artists and educators, and all have Working With Children Checks. Our learning approach is patient and practical, using demonstration to bring out the best for each student.
